Organizational Overview

Role Overview

Responsible for driving overall revenue and profitability growth across the SS&C Health enterprise in assigned Strategic Accounts, consisting of both existing and prospective new customers. Owns, develops and maintains key senior level relationships within assigned accounts and leverages those relationships to gain executive level sponsorship and support. Establishes mutually agreed upon Key Performance Metrics with the customer and leads a comprehensive Quarterly Business Review process. Responsible for establishing and executing detailed strategic account plans for the purpose of expanding SS&C Health’s business partnership and driving increased account penetration. Leads cross functional sales, marketing, and operations teams in a matrixed environment and coordinates sales and account management activities. Reports directly to SVP, Sales.


  • Sell products, solutions and services with new or existing clients.

  • To influence, penetrate and engage with the key decision makers across all departments and the C Suite.

  • The focus will be on the increasing the growth of our current portfolio of strategic customers and deepen our relationship with competitive accounts.

  • Create sales opportunities, pipeline and closures within client base/territory and facilitate cross-selling opportunities for existing clients.

  • Solicit and maintain network of prospects.

  • Have knowledge of BPO Administration, Core Claims Administration Platforms, compliance, analytics, turnkey and hosted services across SS&C Health.

  • Understand the client needs, strategies and goals in order to recommend and sell appropriate product or professional service solutions to meet client needs.

  • Create account plans to manage sales goals and achieve targets.

  • Negotiate and close deals that meet client expectations and SS&C’s ability to deliver.

  • This role works and collaborates with a variety of leaders and resources throughout SS&C Health Product Owners, Operational Executives and Marketing.

  • Record all activities within our GoCheck Sales Tracking Platform.

  • Executing of strategies will be measured on new wins, and on an enhanced relationship and ultimately a high level of customer penetration.


  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 + years of work-related experience, or 4 years equivalent work-related experience

  • Sales experience focusing on Healthcare Analytics. Candidate should have background selling Population Health Analytics, HEDIS, Risk Adjustment solutions

  • Clinical background is a plus
