Job Description:

Organizational Overview

As an Associate with DST Pharmacy Solutions, you will be part of an organization that promotes better health outcomes for consumers through clinical and technological innovations. We accomplish this by leveraging the robust technology foundation and powerful analytic resources that are the core of DST, with industry leading clinical expertise and strategic pharmacy and healthcare solutions. You will join a team that is redefining the value of pharmacy in healthcare through the integration of advanced analytics, clinical insights and transformative digital capabilities.

Role Overview

Directs a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life. Functions as a central resource with the design, creation, quality, testing, marketing, and distribution as the product(s) move through their lifecycle. Directs those involved in the design, modification and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products.

  • Formulates and executes long-term plans for cost/profit control.

  • Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends.

  • Regularly interacts with senior leaders or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.

  • Works on complex issues where analysis requires advanced analytical thought and judgment.

  • Leads subordinate managers and activities of two or more departments or disciplines.

  • Participates in the interview/selection process, provides training and mentorship, offers career development guidance, and is engaged in performance management.

  • Develops functional plans, including business, operational, and financial priorities that contribute to business unit strategy.

  • Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.

  • Translates business unit/company objectives into functional plans and guides execution.


  • Ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations.

  • Accountability for the performance and results of multiple related units.

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of work-related experience, or Master’s degree and 6 years of work-related experience, or 10 years equivalent work-related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or computer-related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems), 10+ years formal product management experience coupled with demonstrated staff management experience; P&L responsibility and Six Sigma certification/experience.
