As the Supervisor Financial Services (Unit Manager), you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of associate level transfer agency representatives. Within the Transfer Agency, we provide back-office financial services to over 40 Mutual Fund Clients and their investors. These services include establishing accounts, processing shareholder and broker/dealer trades, facilitating money movement between the fund and shareholders, completing analysis of fund and investor data, and more.
This includes but not limited to:
Supervise, coach and direct the activities of the Investor Solutions team. Ensure representatives are accurate and timely in their communications with shareholders.
Motivate employees and create solutions to boost employee morale and satisfaction.
Complete one on ones and annual reviews
Monitor an ongoing metric system for the team and individual associates.
Understands daily shareholder requests and knows what is needed in order to complete those requests/inquiries
Ability to guide the team with appropriate direction on shareholder requests/inquiries as needed
Monitor mail volumes and ensure that all mail/faxes/overnights have been accounted for and scanned in on a daily basis
Manage daily workflow activities and projects
Work closely with DST and other Transfer Agency supervisors and managers to prepare for client launches and conversions.
Ensure all team responsibilities are completed daily/monthly/annually
Understand procedural requirements, industry regulations, and identify solutions when alternatives are needed.
Create and implement controls, ensure completion of checklists, and maintain department records to reduce risk of errors and facilitate audit review.
Provide progress updates and documentation to Management
Other duties, as assigned
Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of related industry and leadership experience preferred
Experience in transfer agency or mutual fund client service preferred
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy and strong multi-tasking skills
Computer experience (Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook)
Interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Flexibility in schedule & ability to work weekends
General understanding of all TA functions
