Role Overview

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Sales Executive. In this role, you will focus on generating new business for SS&C’s Brokerage Solutions team, focused on the needs of Broker-Dealer firms.

The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for executing on sales strategies and leading sales campaigns for products/solutions within assigned accounts/territory, from beginning to end with the appropriate partnership within SS&C and the product/services owners.

Responsibilities

  • Primarily selling brokerage solutions (including mutual fund subaccounting and alternative investment order processing and operational support.)

  • Sell products, solutions and services with new or existing clients.

  • Create sales opportunities, pipeline and closures within client base/territory and facilitate cross-selling opportunities for existing clients.

  • Solicit and maintain a network of prospects.

  • Understand client needs, strategies and goals in order to recommend and sell appropriate product or professional service solutions to meet client needs.

  • Create and manage sales plans to achieve sales goals and targets.

  • Lead all prospect interactions from introduction to closing.

  • Negotiate and close deals that meet client expectations and SS&C’s ability to deliver.

  • This role works and collaborates with a variety of leaders and resources throughout SS&C/DST Product, Service Delivery, Relationship Executive and Marketing teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of work-related experience, or Master’s degree and 3 year of work-related experience, or 7-10 years equivalent work-related experience

  • Must be self-motivated to deliver results.

  • Experience in B2B selling in the sell side Broker/Dealer community.

  • Experience in large complex platform sales

  • Strong communication (written and verbal), relationship, selling and collaboration skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership of pipeline from introduction to sale close.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
