Organizational Overview

While working at SS&C Business Process Solutions | AWD, you will help our clients discover opportunities in the complexities associated with mounting inflows of data, rapid technological advancements, shifting regulatory change, rising security risks and increasing demands from their customers. Your job is to help our clients discover opportunity through technology, strategic advisory and business improvement solutions. You will work with some of the world’s leading Alternative Asset Managers, Asset Management Service Companies, Banking Companies, Broker-Dealers, Distribution Companies, Insurance Companies and Retirement Companies. Role Overview

In the Sales Executive-Inside Sales role, you will be responsible for lead generation of sales from organizations having requirements for SS&C AWD solutions as new logo clients. The Sales Executive inside sales will be responsible for executing on sales strategies and managing sales campaigns for products/solutions within assigned accounts/territory, from beginning to end with the appropriate partnership within SS&C and the product/services owners. This role reports to the head of Sales-AWD and will require minimal travel (less than 5%).


  • Execute a lead generation calling program to help our organization sell products, solutions and services with new or existing clients across Asset Managers, Brokerage, and Retirement, Health and other industires.

  • Create sales leads, pipeline and leading to closures within client base/territory and facilitate cross-selling opportunities for existing clients.

  • Solicit and maintain network of prospects using the latest multimedia technology and networking capabilities.

  • Have knowledge of software and services sales in one or more industry vertical

  • Understand how to collect and communicate client needs, strategies and goals in order to generate high quality sales leads for appropriate product or professional service solutions to serve client needs.

  • Create lead generation and campaign plans to manage lead generation goals and achieve team targets.

  • This role works and collaborates with a variety of leaders and resources throughout SS&C Product, Service Delivery, Relationship Executive and Marketing teams.

  • Record all activities within CRM and other required systems

  • Strong presentation skills using the latest technology including video, blogs, LinkedIn and other tools


  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of work-related experience,

  • Must be self-motivated to deliver results.

  • Experience in consultative B2B selling

  • Knowledge of fintech, compliance, business workflow processes, data analytics, transfer agency, retirement, record keeping and insurance products a plus.

  • Strong communication (written and verbal), relationship, selling and collaboration skills.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding lead generation goals.
