About SS&C Cybersecurity

As a Staff IAM Principal Architect, you will work and lead in this dynamic environment with a talented team, influencing and building the next generation IAM technology stack at SS&C. Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a key technology pillar at SS&C, responsible for providing secure access to applications and services from a variety of users (employees, businesses and customers across) globally. To stay ahead of the rapidly changing security landscape especially with globalization of SS&C’s business and newer form factors of access via new devices, IOT etc., has direct impact on IAM Services.

The IAM team is growing and has a global presence in London, India, and the United States.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • This is a IAM technical hands-on lead position who can deliver IAM deliverables globally across the enterprise and drive security strategies and implementation.

  • Execute the IAM deliverables for enterprise need across business units globally.

  • Provide support on security IAM platforms including platform maintenance, issue resolution, monitoring, and tuning.

  • Manage relationships with various platform and software vendors.

  • Participate in product evaluation and selection with strategy and architecture representatives.

  • Create detailed implementation estimates for platform initiatives.

  • Develop and implement operational metrics and monitoring to measure platform effectiveness and proactively detect production issues.

  • Act as a subject matter expert in IAM space of SS&C IT Security and provide consultative support to team members, business partners, and other corporate groups globally.

  • Partner closely with Security Solutions Architects in a strong cross-functional team.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Partner closely with Security Solutions Architects in a strong cross-functional team.

  • In depth working knowledge (Functional and Technical) with IAM components, tools and technologies.

  • Worked in large enterprise IAM program supporting hundreds of applications and thousands of internal users.

  • Working experience of IAM products such as Siteminder, Ping, OneIdentity, Oracle Access Manager, Azure ADB2C, ForgeRock etc.

  • Designed and implemented different types of Authn including UBA, Risk/Adaptive Authentication in cIAM

  • Strong working knowledge in Directory Servers / Identity Stores

  • Strong knowledge of entitlements functionality and technical implementation

  • Strong working knowledge on SAML, WS-Federation, OAuth and Open ID Connect

  • Strong web application and services development background

  • Strong working knowledge of Webserver and Middleware application servers.

Recommended Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or related discipline.

  • 6 years of core IAM experience in large enterprise implementations.

  • 10 Years of Enterprise Solutions delivery experience including Software development experience.

  • Good working knowledge of Cloud technologies.

  • Experience in design and architecture of scalable, high-availability IAM solutions in large consumer facing enterprise

  • Broad knowledge and passion for digital technology, including web-based products & services, mobile devices & apps, and social media.

  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong verbal and written skills
