While working in the Research, Analytics and Consulting group within SS&C Financial Services, you will help our clients discover opportunities in the complexities associated with mounting inflows of data, rapid technological advancements, and increasing demands from their customers. Your job is to help our clients discover opportunity through data management, analytics, thought leadership, and strategic advisory solutions. You will work with some of the world’s leading asset and wealth managers around the world, as well as a collaborative, diverse, global team within SS&C.
In this leadership role, you will have the opportunity to build and manage a small team of relationship-oriented Sales Executives for Distribution Solutuions. We are looking for a Leader who can build relationships, motivate the team, identify possible leads, leverage existing contacts and spearhead the sales of our products across existing and prospective clients
Consult with Distribution, Marketing, Product, and Business Intelligence executives at Asset Management Firms on how best to use our distribution products to drive sales and execute their business plans.
Provides strategic and operational direction to sales staff and functions to maximize sales revenues.
Develops sales goals including sales volume, cost of sales, and product profitability.
Responsible for revenue generation through the management and oversight of sales staff who have direct revenue responsibility.
Establishes effective communications with appropriate executives and managers to ensure proper sensitivity to sales needs.
10+ year’s sales management experience in financial services or related industry.
Direct experience with selling data management and/or analytics solutions to the asset managers is strongly preferred
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of formal education and work experience.
Ability to listen and communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, in order to present, discuss and advise client(s), employees, executive management and other departments.
Presentation skills are required to participate in client visits and presentations.
Planning and goal setting skills are required to meet revenue goals.
