Organizational Overview

As an Associate with DST Pharmacy Solutions, you will be part of an organization that promotes better health outcomes for consumers through clinical and technological innovations. We accomplish this by leveraging the robust technology foundation and powerful analytic resources that are the core of DST, with industry leading clinical expertise and strategic pharmacy and healthcare solutions. You will join a team that is redefining the value of pharmacy in healthcare through the integration of advanced analytics, clinical insights and transformative digital capabilities.

Role Overview

This is a key leadership position in the organization and is responsible for the development, implementation, oversight and coordination of Utilization Management, Pipeline and Drug Safety, Prior Authorizations, P&T Committee, Formulary Management, and Drug Information. In this role, you will have considerable impact in the healthcare segment and as a result on DST/SSC Enterprise. It is an exciting opportunity to support DST Full strategic initiative, which is heavily dependent upon developing a full suite of clinical operations functionality, products, services, processes and procedures.

The position will lead the development of the aforementioned activities and will have significant decision-making authority.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on Full Service strategic initiative and business plan

  • Manage the clinical knowledge of the Clinical Relationship Executives reporting to the VP, Strategic Relationships

  • Execute on the Full Service plan, as well be a material contributor in the Product planning and strategic planning process over the next four years

  • Manage the Drug Information units oversight of new drug pipeline, our monographs describing recommendations for certain new drugs and/or therapies

  • Execute on Full Service business plan, and it is evolutions

  • Manage the P&T committee functions

  • Manage the analytics functions within the business

  • Manage the development and lifecycle of products in the business unit

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or PharmD degree and 12 years of work-related experience, or Master’s degree and 10 years of work-related experience

  • Current pharmacist licensure without sanctions

  • 10+ years of experience in clinical program development/management in a managed care setting

  • 10+ years of being a proactive, strategic and decisive leader; able to consider alternatives and understand the strategic implications of key decisions

  • 10+ years of effectively leading/managing others

  • Experience in building and evolving organizational structure

  • Experience leading a large and strategically critical function through subsidiary leaders who oversee multiple departments or functions

  • Experience creating, adapting and executing long-term strategies to achieve key business objectives
