Role Overview

As the Supervisor of Financial Services Operations you will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of staff who offer operations support to broker/dealer back-offices and/or the NSCC. You will work to enhance relationships with broker/dealers and/or the NSCC through ongoing contact with their counterparts, maintaining a client centric mentality at all times. Our ideal candidate will have extensive operations experience, comprehensive understanding of mutual fund administration, and strong people management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of Financial Service Operations Representatives who resolves trade resolution, Dealer, Firm and Rep level updates as well as other mutual fund back office tasks

  • Applies and enforces guidelines to ensure compliance and equitable application of policies, procedures, practices, programs, processes, and systems

  • Makes suggestions and strategizes on continued improvement or increased efficiencies

  • Supervises a team in a support or operational environment, overseeing daily completion of work and ensuring we are meeting our internal and external SLA’s.

  • Ongoing monitoring of the SalesConnect application and AWD workflow, ensuring the functionality remains accurate

  • Participates in the interview/selection process, provides training and mentorship, offers career development guidance, and is engaged in performance management

  • Plans and prioritizes work to meet business unit commitments aligned with company goals and financial responsibilities

  • Delivers operational results that align with department commitments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of work-related experience, or Master’s degree and 1 year of work-related experience, or 5 years equivalent work-related experience

  • Drive to develop and grow a team of entry level representatives

  • Demonstrated knowledge of supporting the broker dealer strongly preferred

  • Experience with AWD, TA2000 or SmartDesk II

  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Ability to work with tight deadlines

  • Quick thinking, reflection & execution
