Role Overview

This position is for Tax Administration. Individuals work with internal and client contacts to gather information needed to facilitate the production of shareowner tax forms and IRS reporting files while adhering to strict federal, state and client deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and analytical skills and have the ability to work both independently or in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation, testing and execution of tax production jobs in accordance with client provided criteria ensuring all IRS and department standards are followed

  • Develop and maintain quality reports to monitor and identify potential issues with impact to tax reporting

  • Perform various tasks in support of the tax reporting process within strict deadlines

  • Interface with Internal support teams as well as client representatives to respond to inquiries and resolve problems.

  • Prepares regular status reports for clients and DST management. Participates in client conference calls, meetings and visits as needed.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of business related experience

  • Keen attention to details

  • A solid grasp of TA2000, SmartDesk and AWD is helpful.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, in order to exchange information with management and various external entities and recommend/identify solutions.

  • Ability to collect, analyze, interpret and present data accurately and professionally.

  • Must be able work collaboratively with clients, internal, and external resources.

  • Ability to execute assignments within established timeframes and quality standards; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to follow standard project process and methodology while adapting to unique situations and requirements. Requires flexibility in terms of work hours and schedules.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with extreme attention to detail and accuracy
