As an Associate with SS&C Health, you will be part of an organization that promotes better health outcomes for consumers through clinical and technological innovations. Senior Pharmacy Network Specialists work directly with customers and internal departments to develop, implement, and apply new pharmacy networks and plans for SS&C and customer-contracted networks. They research and analyze the more complex incoming requests from customers (including special programming and/or reporting requirements), determine the most appropriate approach, and complete or follow the request to completion ensuring the customers' needs are met.
Develop and maintain a pharmacy specialist training program.
Act as a SME, consulting on interdepartmental projects
Perform complex research and/or analytical functions of customer pharmacy builds
Act as an escalation point when Team Lead and/or Manager is unavailable
Manage projects and/or complex requests to ensure availability when Pharmacy Network Specialists workload exceeds their capacity
Create and maintain documented department procedures
Any other project or task assigned by Team Lead or Manager
Work under general supervision, follow standard procedures and instructions in assisting and/or performing tasks, and are held accountable to departmental quality and productivity goals
High School degree and at least 2 years of related experience
1 years operations experience or 1 years’ experience in a research/analysis position (e.g., business analysis/applications analysis, research analyst)
2 years operations experience or 2 years’ experience in a research/analysis position (e.g., business analysis/applications analysis, research analyst)
Proficient in pharmacy claims analysis
Proven experience working with pharmacy networks with emphasis in network set up in a claims processing system.
