Role Overview

The HR Leave of Absence Coordinator primarily focuses on the FMLA administration as it relates to leave of absences. The individual serves as the point-of-contact for SS&C associates across the United States providing guidance for the leave requests.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point-of-contact for SS&C associates within the United States as it relates to leave of absences requests and provide guidance through the process as it deems necessary.

  • Utilize various data sources and procedures to properly research questions and inquiries. Determine the best method of response or resolution.

  • Identify trends in support requests and opportunities to improve administrative processes.

  • Process transactions in and maintain HR systems. Proactively identify systems or support issues and determine short and long term actions and possible solutions.

Qualifications

  • High School degree and at least 2-4 years of work-related experience in Human Resources

  • Strong customer service background is expected to support SS&C associates with HR-related inquiries

  • Experience in administration of FMLA and ADA and Worker’s Compensation knowledge is required

  • Experience with MS Office specifically intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel

  • Knowledge of HRIS platforms is preferred
