Enterprise Services is the provider of information technology services to the DST enterprise. Our business is to connect our clients to their customers by automating business processes, providing information for decision making, and providing productivity tools to increase efficiency. This includes the information technology infrastructure and architecture functions, as well as, the global information privacy and security.
The Lead ITSM Engineer under our DST Enterprise Applications team provides implementation and ongoing development support for the enterprise BMC Remedy application suite. The primary focus for this position will be to assist with the ongoing development support of the application as the continued implementation progresses. This will include working with application team to define technical requirements for development as well as develop custom integrations and automation. This individual routinely engages with other developers, application administrators, analysts, DBAs and other technical support teams, as well as vendor consultants.
Involve in development responsibilities for currently deployed modules.
Define technical requirements for new development which includes developing new and modifying existing code, as well as report development.
Provide Tier III support for supported application environments.
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of work-related experience, or Master’s degree and 4 year of work-related experience, or 8 years equivalent work-related experience
At least 3 years of experience in development, installation and troubleshooting in an ITIL-based environment. In-depth knowledge and skills in integrating business applications with an ITIL-based application in a large, complex organization. Experience with BMC Remedy system and development tools (i.e. BMC Developer Studio) including programming concepts and languages are highly preferred.
Asset management, CMDB design, change management, service request management, incident management and problem management.
Extensive SQL experience.
Shell and PERL scripting experience.
Experience in design and execution of unit tests and use cases.
Systems administration background.
Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and languages (i.e. Java, J2EE, PL/SQL, etc.).
Experience with Crystal Report writing.
Professional certifications such as ITIL v3 Foundations preferred.
