While working at DST Financial Services, you will help our clients discover opportunities in the complexities associated with mounting inflows of data, rapid technological advancements, shifting regulatory change, rising security risks and increasing demands from their customers. Your job is to help our clients discover opportunity through technology, strategic advisory and business improvement solutions. You will work with some of the world’s leading Alternative Asset Managers, Asset Management Service Companies, Banking Companies, Broker-Dealers, Distribution Companies, Insurance Companies and Retirement Companies. The Client Relations team is looking for an Associate Client Relations Specialist to join their growing team! This associate will be a support resource to broker dealers and custodians who use DST’s products and services in the alternative investment market. This role will provide day to day client support but also take on projects to help identify operational and system improvements.
Associate Client Relations Specialists are expected to demonstrate the ability to:
Independently analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
Communicate clearly and effectively with external clients and internal counterparts
Generate ideas for new approaches to problem solving and alternative solutions
Learn several business domains and their functions
Work on multiple projects simultaneously
Bachelor’s degree, or 2 years equivalent work-related experience. 1 year business-related work experience in a customer service or industry-related position.
Must possess strong knowledge of DST products, services, and service practices to provide superior customer service.
Must possess strong knowledge of the clients’ business and culture in order to develop short- and long-range business plans for add-on business opportunities, services, and/or sales.
Proven ability to successfully interact with various levels of client personnel, including middle to upper management
Knowledge of alternative investments
Knowledge of brokerage operations
Proficient in Microsoft Access
Familiarity with JIRA application
