Role Overview

The Associate Regulatory Compliance Analyst monitors regulations and researches tools to stay abreast of regulatory changes applicable to the company's industries. This position analyzes and interprets new and modified regulations to determine applicability to multiple companies, business units, or products. You will assist with ensuring the company’s current internal technology and external product offerings remain in compliance with new or updated regulations once they are applied. The Associate Regulatory Compliance Analyst serves as a consultant to the organization, our subsidiaries, affiliates, and external clients regarding compliance matters relatively routine in nature.

Successful candidates will have the ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment. Strong organizational and analytical skills are necessary for this position with the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally with internal and external contacts.


  • Performs the reconciliation, reporting, and remittance of unclaimed property to the various states according to state requirements and guidelines.

  • Provides support to internal and external customers

  • Performs various tasks in support of escheatment while adhering to corporate policy and processing standards: Create affidavits for states, Generates preliminary unclaimed property test reports using the DST Smart Desk application, Perform registration reformatting to ensure shareowner registrations comply with specific state formats.

  • Interfaces with various internal departments as needed to ensure prompt research/resolution of items.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of DST systems including AWD is also required.

  • Organization, attention to detail, follow-through on issues pending resolution.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, in order to handle a large volume of items to be researched and resolved within a specified timeframe.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.

  • Ability to work with highly confidential or sensitive information.

  • Microsoft office products with strong emphasis on Excel.

  • Mutual Fund and Transfer Agency experience preferred.

  • Processing experience using Smartdesk2 and TA Desktop.
