Job Description:

Primary Skills

Ø Supports hardware and software installation, configuration, operation and ongoing maintenance of systems.

Ø Possesses a fundamental understanding of the computer operations environment.

Ø Works independently on routine tasks and exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.

Ø Operates, monitors and performs basic troubleshooting of equipment, networks, and data processing/batching; assists with logging and documentation of equipment and processes.

Ø Monitors and manages critical path processing for a defined set of systems in a multi-system environment.

Ø Recognizes common problem conditions and provides first-level problem diagnosis and resolution using troubleshooting procedures.

Ø Provides timely escalation of more complex problems.

Ø May provide technical support to customers, resolving basic issues/inquiries regarding systems, applications, and data.

Ø Uses developed knowledge and skills to perform assignments with a moderate degree of supervision.

Ø Delivers work to agreed timescales, service levels or similar metric
