SS&C ALPS is a leading Registered Fund Services provider in the financial services industry. SS&C ALPS’ Treasury Services group is looking for additional personnel. SS&C ALPS provides fund administration services to institutional money managers, global hedge fund clients, and private equity fund clients. The team works in a fast paced environment actively liaising with our clients, and other interested parties, in order to process wires related to their business activities. Treasury Services manages the process from the wire request through payment ensuring all steps and controls are completed.
Coordinating the entire wire process (from receipt of request through to release), including:
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Actively working with clients in regards to status of wires, outstanding items, etc.
Sourcing required support related to wires
Applying procedures to ensure all controls are in place prior to processing a wire
Inputting wires in the wire application
Assigning and tracking internal reviews of wires to ensure wires are processed prior to agreed cut-offs
Identify potential issues, and escalate to the appropriate parties, both internal and external, in a timely manner
Maintaining a wire log to assist with the tracking of wires
Identify processes or other areas in need of improvement, and work with technology and the other relevant parties to develop, test, and execute the necessary changes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
Strong attention to detail
Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage multiple tasks/function
Team player with superior organizational skills and with the ability to work independently, problem solve, and take initiative
Ability to comprehend the importance of data security and comply with firm wide procedures
