SS&C CareConnect Sr. IT Product Support Analysts possess a wide-ranging, in-depth knowledge of multiple supported products and/or applications. They are able to identify the impact of outside influences on a product's behavior. They understand behaviors in multiple situations and offer assistance to customers regarding product set up, expectations for product functionality and performance, etc., when new variables are introduced. Coupled with product and business knowledge, Sr. IT Product Support Analysts demonstrate a high degree of vendor knowledge and technical proficiency during problem resolution. They exhibit a comprehensive understanding of multiple product inter-relationships and the architecture and infrastructure of the client middle tier and server software and any peripheral products.
Perform in-depth research and creative problem analysis and execute advanced troubleshooting procedures to resolve complex issues
Lead the recreation process for issues, including presenting the results to internal collaborators for review
Identify and address issues; they recognize the customer-base impact and severity of issues, and reprioritize accordingly
Review, write, and analyze query statements and identify areas for improving performance/functionality
Assist in customer product implementations and serve as a resource and point of escalation for complex issues or situations and may act in a leadership/liaison capacity to ensure client priorities across the organization
Work collaboratively with customers and/or developers through problem resolution
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of work-related experience, or Master’s degree and 1 year of work-related experience, or 5 years equivalent work-related experience
4 years’ experience supporting the software development life cycle and project development methodologies
Post-secondary education in a business- or computer-related field of study
5+ years’ experience (industry related preferred) supporting the software development life cycle
Demonstrated leadership abilities, strong/independent work ethic, and a solid aptitude to grasp technical concepts, and proficient usage with a variety of software tools.
