We help client’s master complexity in the world’s most demanding industries to ensure they continually stay ahead of the ever-changing customer requirements.
Understands the functionality for multiple supported products and/or applications and associated business processes. May provide technical support through customer implementation process. Has general knowledge of the architecture and infrastructure and server software as well as any peripheral products. Provides technical support to internal or external customers, resolving escalated and moderately complex issues in accordance with established standards and procedures. Performs research and problem analysis and diagnosis for complex software, computer systems or equipment. They may install and uninstall desktop applications. Identifies impact of an issue (e.g., isolated vs. global issue). Uses independent judgement to escalate issues and works with internal and external support teams to drive resolution. Interprets application or operating system logs and/or traces to assist in the identification of problems.
Install required business developed and Third-Party applications
Support installed applications and interfacing to subsequent products
Troubleshoot in-depth issues to identify root cause
Participate in on-call support rotation
Engage in team projects to work towards desired outcome
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of work-related experience, or 4 years equivalent work-related experience
Working knowledge of the Rocket Software UniVerse database and System Builder application
Unix / Linux knowledge with a solid understanding of security and shell scripting
Oracle database knowledge including security and script generation and execution
