Organizational Overview

SS&C Health provides healthcare reform through a full range of BPO and turnkey healthcare administration solutions. Role Overview

Prepares financial and business-related analyses, research, and reporting for software development organization. Forecasts and analyzes trends. Compiles and prepares reports for internal and external clients and develops graphs and charts. May assist in the development of procedures, conduct special financial analyses and business-related studies, and collaborate with others in the preparation of analyses. Interacts frequently with internal and external contacts. May assist in compiling budget, forecast, and long-range planning activities. May assist in compiling variance analyses and in the presentation of financial data to management and executives.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors & follows up on funding issues with contracts for billable work.

  • Works with development teams and finance team to manage capitalization of investment projects.

  • Reviews and approves invoices.

  • Uses team capacity and backlog of work to make financial predictions on billable work.

  • Assists in managing team capacity for projects.

  • Manages budget for various application development projects.

  • Assists in costing of various applications and projects.

  • Assists in securing third-party vendor licensing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of work-related experience, or 4 years equivalent work-related experience
