Organizational Overview

As an Associate with SS&C, you will be part of an organization that promotes better health outcomes for consumers through clinical and technological innovations. Role Overview

The Supervisor of BPO Operations is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and guidance of associates engaged in processing work items and maintaining production reports. They are expected to have a very thorough understanding of healthcare operations and the organization's structure regarding information gathering or issue resolution. The Supervisor BPO Operations will accept, record, process, and troubleshoot requests from clients and staff of the most complex in nature. They may be responsible for special projects. BPO Supervisors monitor staff quality and ensure operational standards, policies, and procedures are followed. They may be responsible for providing input to the hiring and disciplinary processes as well as for administering performance appraisals for staff associates.

Responsibilities

  • Accept, record, troubleshoot and process requests from Clients and staff that are complex in nature

  • HIPPA Management Resolution of QA items daily for all QA types

  • Onboarding of new associates

  • Daily QA meetings

  • May be assisting in special projects at Managers request

  • May be responsible for accurate associate time keeping, and performance appraisals I addition to tracking associate PTO

  • Maintaining inventory according to quality control procedures and guidelines

  • Perform special project assignments from time to time, such as research work, obtaining special authorizations, outbound calls and data entry

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of work-related experience, or Master’s degree and 1 year of work-related experience, or 5 years equivalent work-related experience

  • Supervisory or lead experience in Healthcare related field highly desirable

  • Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, Affordable Act, Commercial, Small/Large Group and/or Pharmaceutical Benefits Management

  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.

  • Intermediate computer proficiency, including keyboarding skills and the ability to navigate through multiple computer systems.

  • Real passion for excellence in service and attention to detail.
