Job Description Sr. Software Developers develop detailed, complex technical specifications from which programs can be written to support and enhance existing software, third-party products, and/or new software applications. They demonstrate a solid business understanding for the purpose of the application or assigned task. They also accurately estimate the effort required to code the specifications for which they have written. Sr. Software Developers consistently demonstrate a high-level of coding proficiency and can be assigned coding tasks of a complex nature. They provide guidance to and assist in training less experienced associates in coding techniques and principles. Sr. Software Developers execute various forms of testing; unit, system, regression, integration, performance, volume, etc. They initiate and lead specification and code reviews. Sr. Software Developers perform complex analysis and recommend solutions for disruptions in production systems. Sr. Software Developers may also provide input into moderately complex technical designs and proposed customer solutions. They may also begin to assume a leadership role for smaller-scoped projects or larger project components.

Job Description 
Sr. Communications Specialists create, design, write and manage online content, publication materials, client communications, newsletters, social media content, bulletins, informational materials, and company presentations to build customer interaction and engagement. This requires customer insights, detailed research, personal interviews, and interpretation of technical documents (e.g., national solution brochures, white papers for trade magazines, customer testimonials, etc.). Sr. Communications Specialists interview subject matter experts, develop original documentation, and write in the level of detail required for varying audiences. Sr. Communications Specialists ensure communications follow company guidelines as well as customary Journalism and English grammar principles. Required Skills:
• A background in business, technology or communications.
• 2 to 5 years of experience with online interactive marketing (website, microsites, blogs and social media).

• Strong track record in social media marketing (content, engagement, measurements, and insights).

We are currently hiring a Principal (Java) Architect for our South Windsor CT office.

Requirements for this position include:
-A minimum of 8 years prior IT experience to include in a Software Developer /Software Architect role.
- 6 + years previous experience in Object Oriented development (Java strongly preferred)
-Must have industry related experience in Life and/or Annuity Insurance
-Ability to travel @ 25% (Domestic and Internationally) 
Preferred experience to include:
-Working knowledge of Agile methodology
