This is a client-facing role. They receive direction from the project lead or others in the sales organization. Sales Support Analysts rely less on existing resources and more on independent reasoning and increased proficiency and creativity with product. They provide input into solution development on common to complex opportunities. Their primary written documentation functions include generating responses to RFP/RFIs, developing sales collateral, and preparing proposals. Sales Support Analysts communicate with others in the product group to gain needed information. They coordinate with executive-level management throughout the company to define and develop solutions. Their primary technical solution development functions include configuring product demonstrations to show how products can meet the solution(s) developed by a client team. Sales Support Analysts ensure technical success of the demonstration (i.e., set up hardware and software, troubleshoot). They also assist in building solutions to meet potential clients' needs (e.g., define work flow/process, identify problems).
