Job Description Sr. Mutual Fund/Securities Control Liaisons perform all tasks/functions in a specific department, including complex applications of those tasks/functions, and can perform tasks across functions. They identify exceptions, balance systems and reports, reconcile cash and shares, identify risk items, and escalate as needed. They have an increased level of client responsibility as a result of having a greater understanding of client expectations and business needs. They identify problems and achieve resolution independently by using resources throughout the division. Sr. Mutual Fund/Securities Control Liaisons have a general understanding of reconciling, balancing, and reporting (e.g., buys and sells, NSCC/DTC, wires, dividends, commissions, taxes, 12 B-1s, pricing, shares, etc.) They also possess a high degree of ownership of issues and strong analytical and problem solving ability to ensure problems get resolved.

Job Description Control Analysts are accountable for understanding and applying applicable federal security laws, monitoring operational activity, performing regulatory reviews, and assisting with appropriate filings to ensure operations are compliant. They conduct research to design, develop, implement, and/or enforce best business practices that support applicable compliance standards. They test and/or verify the impact of regulatory changes to the company's systems, operational processes, and procedures. Control Analysts review fund and shareholder account information and develop activity reports to detect any potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions. In the event a potentially suspicious activity is identified, they determine if further investigation/research is warranted, conduct the analysis as needed, and work with internal and/or external management teams to achieve an acceptable resolution. Control Analysts identify, document, and escalate suspicious trends and patterned activity to limit potential future risks. Control Analysts may serve as the FinCEN coordinator for the operational area, linking the external client, FBI, and operations management to ensure known matches are reported appropriately. They may also participate on various compliance and/or risk related committees and councils. Demonstrating strong knowledge in the subject matter, Control Analysts assist with facilitating internal compliance-related training/certification programs. They may also assist with developing, communicating, and administering disaster/business recovery plans for the operational area(s).
