Job Description Sr. Benefits Configuration Analysts work directly with clients to develop, implement, and test new benefit structures. They provide benefits subject matter expertise for new client implementations, including visiting the client site for requirements gathering and actual implementation. They analyze client requests for new benefit set up or benefit changes to determine the most appropriate solution for implementing in the claims processing system by applying knowledge of industry standard service and diagnosis codes and CMS government regulations. Sr. Benefits Configuration Analysts are mentors and resources to less experienced associates. They are an ongoing resource to assist with complex requests by reviewing analysis and approach. Sr. Benefits Configuration Analysts serve as subject matter experts on benefits to other BPO departments and to clients. They research and resolve benefit-related client issues. They maintain ongoing, positive relationships with clients.
Required Skills 3 years of AS400 systems. Knowledge of claims processing, including fee reimbursements, claims adjudication. Ability to work independently. Knowledge of Excel and Access.
Desired Skills Experience with Power Stepp configuration. Knowledge of ICD9 codes and standard industry codes.
