Job Description:

Organizational Overview

Global Finance oversees financial accounting and reporting, planning and analysis, income tax function and treasury functions for the DST organization.

Role Overview

Argus Pharmacy Payment Operations processes the daily receipt and disbursement of approximately $40 billion annually of customer funding and pharmacy and member reimbursements. The Senior Program Manager, Pharmacy Payment Operations, will be primarily responsible for developing solutions for new and existing business concentrated on process improvement, automation, risk prevention and management information processes used in customer service delivery and financial reporting for Argus Health Systems. This role will support key initiatives impacting Argus financials. The Senior Program Manager will report directly to the Director, Pharmacy Payment Operations and will have frequent interaction with staff and management from multiple operations and finance functions. Indirect and direct management of other associates will be required for the successful development and implementation of new solutions. There will be hands-on involvement in complex new business processes (Spread Pricing; Alternate Pharmacy Payment Cycles) and leadership in driving process improvement to strengthen existing processes and support growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.

  • Technical Competencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with demonstrated ability to create and leverage the technology capabilities within the various MS Office products to gain efficiencies and minimize risk through automation and control implementation

  • Knowledge of programming languages, SQL, VBA, Monarch, DB2 knowledge, Access Databases

  • Willing & eager to learn pharmacy benefits management and health plan industry business concepts, regulations and practices related to benefit structures, claims processing, prompt pay, Medicare, Medicaid and other regulations as applicable.

  • Familiarity with cash operations and reconciliations and able to learn Argus specific financial applications and operating systems.
