Organizational Overview

Through the convergence of our core pharmacy competencies with our healthcare management expertise and strong strategic alliances, we help manage government programs, consumer risk trends, and provide a best-in-class solution in specialty drugs, rebates, and network.

Role Overview

Senior Pharmacy Network Development Specialists assist in contracting and maintaining Argus network contractual agreements with Pharmacy Services Administration Organizations (PSAO's), chain pharmacies, and in some situations, independent pharmacies. They participate in the solicitation process and rate negotiation process. They organize, track, and load pharmacy contract return data into the appropriate systems(s) and research and resolve the more complex contract processing and contracting issues on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis on PSAO, chain, and independent pharmacies’ global files to identify any discrepancies or inaccuracies in each respective component of the system

  • Provide weekly and/or monthly network reports to Argus network clients as requested

  • Provide data reports, data-mining, spreadsheets, and analysis on an ad-hoc basis for PSAO/chain pharmacy customers to verify the status of contracts sent, completed, and returned on file

  • Mentor and offer assistance and guidance to Pharmacy Network Development Specialists.

Qualifications

Optimal:

  • Post-secondary education business degree and an Argus Pharmacy Technician certification

  • 2 to 5 years pharmacy, healthcare, and/or Argus experience

Minimal:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2 years Argus, pharmacy benefit management, and/or healthcare experience
