Global Human Resources is responsible for implementing DST's People Strategy which is a unique set of investments focusing on attracting, building, energizing, and rewarding a workforce who can most effectively execute DST's business strategy. This organization involves Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Associate Relations, Organizational Effectiveness and Shared Services.
Senior Compensation Analysts consult with business management to research the most complex scenarios that affect associate job titles and/or pay. They partner with Executives to explore and investigate compensation concerns, identify root causes and propose fiscally responsible solutions that may include pay, rewards, and/or other forms of Human Resource-driven initiatives. They research industry best practices related to various forms of compensation rewards and analyze the feasibility of implementation for the company(s) in which they support. Senior Compensation Analysts manage a variety of projects and may lead peers in various compensation-related initiatives. They may also lead and/or mentor less experienced associates in daily support activities.
Partner with business management in defining appropriate job hierarchy through the development and maintenance of job documentation.
Evaluate and recommend the classifications of jobs and ensure conformance with wage and hour laws/regulations.
Participate in 3rd party compensation-related market surveys and with discretion, compare and analyze results to assess market competitiveness for the company’s pay structures.
Perform impact analysis, assess affordability, prepare executive proposals for movement of pay structures, and lead the project for implementation.
Administer and/or lead others in the administration of various pay-related programs, including but not limited to annual focal/merit review cycles, incentive awards, bonuses, analysis and submission of various regulatory and/or audit reports. etc. They may also lead initiatives to design and develop new and/or revise current reward related programs, compensation policies, or practices.
5 or more years of Compensation experience, or combined HR & Compensation experience. 7+ years of experience preferred.
Experience in variable compensation, sales compensation, and executive compensation is required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field is required.
Demonstrated successful project leadership preferred, specifically in compensation design creation and implementation.
