Job Description Mutual Fund/Securities Control Liaisons identify exceptions, balance systems and reports, reconcile cash and shares, identify risk items, and escalate as needed. They are responsible for basic functions within a single department. For more complex tasks, they seek support and guidance from others. Mutual Fund/Securities Control Liaisons work self sufficiently to accomplish most tasks and prioritize work on a daily basis to meet deadlines. They have a general understanding of reconciling, balancing, and reporting (e.g., buys and sells, NSCC/DTC, wires, dividends, commissions, taxes, 12 B-1s, pricing, shares, etc.). Mutual Fund/Securities Control Liaisons possess a high degree of ownership of issues and strong analytical and problem solving ability to ensure problems get resolved.
