Enterprise Services is the provider of information technology services to the DST enterprise. Our business is to connect our clients to their customers by automating business processes, providing information for decision making, and providing productivity tools to increase efficiency. This includes the information technology infrastructure and architecture functions, as well as, the global information privacy and security.
The DST SharePoint Online Administrator is responsible for the day to day support of all components of the SharePoint online environment, specifically, the building and then administration of a customer facing portal.
This role is responsible for continuous improvement and the management of change affecting SharePoint online services. Typical system administrative activities such as site creation, site administration and issue resolution.
The SharePoint Administrator is responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining the DST SharePoint cloud environment for a customer facing portal.
The candidate should be able to analyze, recommend and assist in implementing SharePoint technologies including the development of SharePoint apps to meet business needs.
The SharePoint Administrator should possess the ability to work in a team environment with a business group to translate business requirements into solutions, solving potentially complex problems.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements in order to enhance the platform.
Minimum of 5 years hands on administration and support of SharePoint Online configured as an external customer portal
Able to demonstrate working knowledge and experience of SharePoint Online development, migration and support
Prior experience creating custom SharePoint online apps to solve a business requirement.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with understanding of what excellent customer service looks like
Must be highly collaborative, engaging and open minded professional
Maintains current industry knowledge of development concepts, best practices and procedures for SharePoint solutions
Bachelor’s degree specializing in information systems, technology or equivalent work experience
Built and supported a customer portal in SharePoint online
Exposure to Windows Azure, ADFS and Office 365/SharePoint Online
Deployed custom developed and third-party SharePoint solution packages
Configured SharePoint online services and settings
Documented SharePoint online configuration and architecture
Administered and maintained sites and sub-sites
Managed security for sites and sub-sites
