Job Description:

Organizational Overview

Global Finance oversees financial accounting and reporting, planning and analysis, income tax function and treasury functions for the DST organization.

Role Overview

Corporate Finance & Control Managers assist with the monthly financial close process and the consolidation of financial results for all business units and subsidiaries. They review new and existing accounting pronouncements to ensure financial statement compliance with GAAP. Corporate Finance & Control Managers are responsible for preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and external users (e.g., SEC, banks, auditors, investors, tax authorities, etc.). They coordinate annual audit and quarterly reviews with the company's independent auditors. They develop and recommend corporate accounting policies and corporate procedures to be followed on a company-wide basis. Corporate Finance & Control. They review contracts to identify accounting issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage preparation and review of Form 10 K and Form 10-Q's to be filed with the SEC

  • Prepare and review subsidiary financial statements

  • Act as the liaison for external audit

  • Coordinate management oversight of SOX process

Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree preferred

  • CPA preferred

  • 8-10 years of financial management experience

  • Proven prior success at planning and managing a similar operational budget

  • Implementing effective accounting controls
