Job Description
DST Insurance Solutions is seeing an experienced Business Analyst who will be based in Kansas City, MO. Only applicants with the following skills/experience will be considered for the position.
Required:
·3+ years of life and annuity insurance experience
·5+ years of Business Analyst experience
·Superb written and verbal communication skills
·Ability to travel domestically up to 25%
Desired:
·Post-secondary education
·5+ years of Business Analyst experience
·Demonstrated aptitude and ability to lead smaller scoped project assignments and tasks
Business Analysts are knowledgeable product and/or industry resources on an implementation team. They demonstrate in-depth knowledge in one or multiple components of the product(s). Business Analysts participate in the process of defining, documenting, and analyzing customer requirements, business processes and procedures, and workflows. They define and document standard configuration requirements and configure and/or guide customer configuration of product solutions. They identify, research, and resolve and/or engage others in the research and resolution of moderately complex customer and/or product implementation problems. They conduct demonstrations of product functions/benefits and educate customers on the optimal use of the product to improve efficiencies or satisfy defined requirements. They communicate information to the customer regarding new functionality, enhancements, or changes to the product that would benefit or affect the customer. They assist in identifying product customizations, enhancements, process changes, and/or workarounds to meet customer requirements and working with other functional groups (e.g., development teams, applications analysis, technical support, etc.) as appropriate to address. Business Analysts provide direct customer support during product deployment and provide transitory post-implementation follow up and/or onsite support. They exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions. Business Analysts also provide guidance and assistance to Implementation Specialists and Sr. Implementation Specialists, functioning as an escalation point for more complex implementation support tasks.
