Job Description
The Application Support Lead will have a comprehensive technical and analytical background including experiences in operating system software, databases, online systems, and hardware. The Application Support Lead will be responsible for leading support for DST Systems hosted applications. These applications include AWD, EFS and others. The Application Support Lead may be responsible for installing, configuring, and modifying operating systems, application servers, and workstations, including web servers and architecture related to hardware and related equipment. The Application Support Lead will assist other technical associates with complex problem tickets and architecture projects. Skills such as client advocacy, effective communications, and interpersonal relations are necessary for this position.
REQUIRED:
-Prior experience working in Production Support, Technical Support or as an Application Support Specialist.
-Prior work experience with Linux, JBoss, and/or Apache
-Must be available to assist with on call escalation
DESIRED:
-Experience with DST Systems AWD including AWD10
-Windows Server 2003 and/or 2008
-Experience or exposure to IBM iSeries in a professional/working environment (highly desired)
-SQL experience to include writing SQL queries, ad hoc reports and table modifications.
