Job Description
Sr. Applications Analysts function as a lead liaison between the development team and internal and/or external clients to collect, analyze, and write business requirements, business design documentation, functional specifications, and client documentation. They analyze and make recommendations based on the results of impact and gap analysis. Sr. Applications Analysts coordinate the activities of larger projects across functional areas. They proactively resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative and practical ways and work on complex problems, sending only the most complex issues to management. Sr. Applications Analysts independently determine methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and receive little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments.
Requirements include: A minimum of 2 to 5 years related technical experience; experience analyzing and documenting technical requirements; ability to travel minimally; strong MS Office skills, excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills are highly desirable; and experience in project management, software development and/or applications analysis and knowledge of InDesign is a plus.
This position is in the CSYS-DST/MF West Exp Department.
