Job Description 
DST Systems/DST Output is currently hiring an Information Technology Security Specialist. This position is available in our El Dorado Hills, CA office.
Using their technical skills and specialized information security knowledge, Information Technology Security Specialists contribute to the development of corporate security objectives and principles. They perform risk assessments and weigh business needs against security concerns to articulate issues to management. Information Technology Security Specialists are technical subject matter experts in the company's hardware and software infrastructure for a variety of projects. They consult, monitor, and assess the company's security systems for potential risks, violations, and adherence to the corporate Information Protection Program. Information Technology Security Specialists advise on strategic security initiatives and assist with establishing and maintaining Information Protection policies, standards, and technical baselines. They work on problems of the most diverse scope where analysis of a situation and/or information requires a full understanding of industry and technical practices as well as company policies and procedures. Information Technology Security Specialists provide security expertise to teams of technical specialists working on integrating centralized or networked systems to offer enhanced levels of information security. They perform the most complex and detailed technical intricacies necessary to establish protected security systems.
REQUIRED:
Strong demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of Information Technology Security.
2+ years experience in vunerability and threat analysis
Must have previous experience with configuration on Unix and Windows Servers.
Detailed knowledge of Network and Unix Security a must.
DESIRED:
Knowledge of PCI Highly recommended.
Prior security pentesting experience a plus
Required Skills Candidate will have a good working knowledge of all aspects of Information Security. Detailed knowledge of Network and Unix Security a must. Knowledge of PCI Highly recommended.
