Role Overview

Provider Pricing Implementation Consultants provide in-depth product, industry, and best business practices knowledge on an implementation team. They are capable of consulting in all phases of the implementation process and may also serve as the project lead on small- to medium-sized implementation projects or single phases of larger, more complex implementation projects. They function as a reliable point of contact for all customer inquiries, issues, and requests throughout the implementation process. Provider Pricing Implementation Consultants articulate product capabilities and guide the customer in best practices for use of the product solution. They recognize and notify management of potential add-on business opportunities and/or solutions. They mentor and provide guidance to less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and lead activities related to requirements analysis, business process analysis, product configuration and customization, scope analysis, workflow consulting, data mapping, detailed project documentation, customer communication, issue resolution, testing, customer training education, solution deployment and implementation, and transitory post-implementation support.

  • Identify product customizations, enhancements, process changes, and/or workarounds to meet customer requirements and work with other functional groups (e.g. development teams, applications analysis, technical support, etc.) as appropriate.

  • Gain understanding of product behavior in multiple situations and offer assistance to customers regarding product set up, expectations for product functionality and performance, etc., when new variables are introduced.

  • Identify, research, and resolve and engage others in the research and resolution of moderately complex to complex customer and product implementation problems.

  • Present new perspectives using existing solutions.

  • Work with the customer and internal departments to plan, coordinate, and execute project tasks on schedule with available resources.

  • Provide oversight to assigned project resources, delegate work assignments, monitor progress, develop and administer project schedules, define project deliverables, produce status reports, etc.

  • Manage customer expectations, cultivate the customer relationship, ensure the timely completion of project milestones, and ensure project outcomes successfully meet customer expectations during the implementation process.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of applicable industry, product, and conversion/implementation experience including demonstrated aptitude and ability to lead small to medium sized projects.

  • Provider pricing experience highly desired.

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
