Role Overview

Applications Analysis Supervisors supervise staff who participates in Benefits and Pricing configuration, incident case management, implementation support, process improvement to develop/enhance efforts to support our clients and the organization in producing effective business solutions. Supervisory accountabilities may include, but are not limited to, interviewing and providing feedback into the hiring or team selection process; training, instructing, and directing work assignments; participating in performance management; and interpreting, applying, and enforcing company guidelines, practices, and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis of current processes to ensure development and/or documentation and execution of best practices.

  • Produce departmental reporting and create remediation plans as necessary.

  • Coach and mentor staff including management of personal development plan (career path).

  • Responsible for ensuring project deadlines and client expectations are met by their assigned staff members.

  • Resolve difficult and complex issues as well as assist with the most complex work proposals.

  • Participate and lead client meetings as appropriate.

  • Some travel may be required as necessary.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • At least 3 years of industry-related experience supporting areas of operations (configuration, claims, etc.). 5 years of experience is a plus

  • Demonstrated aptitude and abilities in project leadership and staff management required

  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor a team

  • Experience in managing remote employees preferred
