Required:
·A minimum of 4 years’ experience supporting the software development projects
·Proficient written and verbal communication skills
·Proven ability to quickly grasp technical concepts
· Ability to travel up to 10%

Desired:
·5+ years’ experience supporting the software development projects
· Prior Finance Industry experience
· Previous TA2000 system knowledge

Principal Applications Analysts are experienced in Applications Analysis and repeatedly demonstrate the ability to independently analyze and produce accurate and thorough project documentation and deliverables, including project benefits, feasibility, requirements, scope, risks, and justification. Principal Applications Analysts demonstrate a solid understanding of DST’s products, business processes, and development life cycle. They mentor and are sought out by less experienced analysts for their product and application analysis knowledge. Principal Applications Analysts typically are assigned complex projects and/or situations that have a high degree of customer exposure or company liability. They may work on multiple projects simultaneously. Under the general direction of a project manager or supervisor, Principal Applications Analysts may act in a team lead capacity for projects of small to medium scope. Team lead duties include project administration tasks such as tracking and/or assigning work to others, facilitating meetings, and producing and delivering project communications and reports. Additionally, Principal Applications Analysts may be asked to estimate effort and/or resources required for specific project phases/tasks for which they are assigned to complete and/or lead. 


The Principal Applications Analyst will participate in the requirements, design, testing, and conversion/implementation phases of a project to develop, modify, or implement effective information systems solutions. Principal Applications Analysts demonstrate a solid understanding of DST's products, business processes, and development life cycle for which they are assigned. Principal Application Analysts demonstrate technical proficiency with various software tools, utilities, methodologies, and concepts. They research and collect material information required for analysis of moderately complex issues and assist in the facilitation of resolutions.

Job Description 
Principal Applications Analysts consult and coordinate with analysts and developers to design and develop automated business systems and applications. They participate in the development of product strategies/roadmaps and develop standards and procedures for defining and documenting requirements and high-level designs. They may assess project, development, and company liability and advise management accordingly. Principal Applications Analysts may lead development life cycle projects. Principal Applications Analysts perform in a high-level contributor role with expertise in Applications Analysis. They resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways and work on the most complex issues. Principal Applications Analysts exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results and determine methods and procedures on new assignments.&lt;?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /&gt;

Looking for an individual who play a major role in continuously improving our eSolution offerings. Create prototypes and designs with an awareness of competition and industry direction. Conduct business/customer/user needs analysis to formulate and define systems scope and objectives. Work with different teams to enhance front end designs. May participate in the collection and analysis of business requirements. This may involve direct customer interaction. 

Requirements for the position include: A minimum of 5 years related experience in a technical/software development environment; strong verbal and visual communications skills; Graphic design skills and an understanding of usability as well as an understanding of software functionality; and the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.  

Preferred work experience includes: A minimum of 5 to 7 years industry related experience supporting the software development life cycle; a strong aptitude to grasp technical concepts; proficient use with a variety of software tools; post-secondary education in business or a computer related field of study; experience using Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and/or similar tools; experience with XML, XHTML, and Javascript; and ability to work with a variety of operating systems such as Windows, Android, iOS, OSX, and Unix.
